A simple way to get away from the city and experience a handmade craft.
Kabutoyama Glass Studio is a small family-run studio in a quiet location. Here, you can make two drinking glasses or a set of a drinking glass and a glass vase in two different colors. It’ll take about an hour, but your works of art may need to cool down for a day. Trial glass making is offered at 4,000 yen. There is also a small shop beside the gallery where you can see a remarkable range of glass art. Dress casually, and cotton is preferred due to the heat. The studio requires you to be responsible for your own glass-making process.
Hours: Inquire before visiting. Closed on Wednesdays.
