Takedao Hot Springs is a luxury hot springs resort with a modern Japanese aesthetic on the forested Mukogawa river valley.
The guest rooms are Japanese modern, and each room is a free-standing structure for the ultimate in privacy. Meals are also served in a private alcove. The furnishings are generous compared to a typical hot spring inn, and you will sleep on a comfortable Western-style bed.
Each guest room has its own individual semi-outdoor hot spring bath, and there are spacious indoor and outdoor shared baths as well.
The meals are Japanese cuisine and are made with the local ingredients of the season.
Takedao Hot Springs is located 40 minutes from Osaka or an hour from Kobe by train. It is adjacent to the city of Takarazuka, famous nationwide for its all-female musical theater, so theater viewers may find it convenient to stay here.
Rooms accommodate up to 4 guests. Breakfast and dinner included with most reservations types; inquire. Day use also available.
