Hike to Nunobiki Waterfall

Just a 40-minute hike from the city center brings you to a natural oasis.

The hike to Nunobiki Waterfall starts from Shin-Kobe Station, the bullet train stop. This route may not provide a great challenge for experienced hikers, but it’s truly revitalizing to see such a major waterfall a short walk from the city.

This hike is doable even with kids or if you hadn’t planned to hike in Japan. City-tired travelers will feel reinvigorated.

Bullet train or Kobe subway Shin Kobe Station: Start from the north side of the station and follow the arrows. There’s only one path, so it’ll be hard to get lost.
